Northwick Park has been a home for model flying for over 50 years and has had several generations of model flyers and aircraft ranging from control line internal combustion flight to electric powered quadcopters. Please do have a look at our Gallery.
If you have any interest in model flying at Northwick Park please contact us and we can help you to get flying as soon as possible. The airfield is located on the field furthest to the left, as shown by the red marker on the map below. There is a car park very close by within the grounds of the park itself. Access is off Norval road. Controlled Parking is available during the week and free parking during the weekend.

Important Flying Information
We highly recommend that you do not attempt to fly in wind speeds over 13mph
Mandatory requirements:

1. BMFA Insurance @ £38 per annum
2. Civil Aviation Authority Registration (available through the BMFA @ £9 fee.
2. Brent Council Permit @ £44 per annum
3. NWPFC Membership @ £20 per annum (Voluntary Donation)

Flying Hours are as follows:
​
Electric/Gliders
Weekdays: Midday till 8:30pm or Sunset (whichever is earlier)
Saturdays: 11am till 8:30pm or Sunset
Sundays: Midday till 8:30pm or Sunset
​
Internal Combustion Engines
Wednesday: Midday till 4:00pm
Saturday: 11am till 4:00pm
